Diploma in Information Technology is designed to provide students with a level of knowledge and skills appropriate for the application of information technology. They will acquire knowledge in the design, implementation and operation of computer-based systems and to identify the activities of systems development and operation in terms of effectiveness and efficiency.
The Diploma in Information Technology at level 4 and 5 is equivalent to the first two years of an undergraduate course, allowing learners to progress onto the final year of an undergraduate degree program at any UK University.
Upon completion of the Diploma in Information Technology, interested students may further their education by enrolling in a top up program at an accredited UK university. Students will have the option of finishing their degree either online or in person at campus. The associated costs will vary based on the mode of instruction.
Below are some examples of UK universities with top up degree options. Students can apply directly to a university of their choice for further studies. In addition, our counselors will also be available to assist with the application process.
Students wishing to enroll in this program must have completed intermediate level of study
(Grade 12). Each module of the course consists of approximately 50 guided learning hours of
material with an additional 35-45 hours of optional learning material. These materials are
comprised of interactive exercises, further readings and internet resources.
Once course requirements for the program have been met, a Certificate of Completion is awarded by a UK Awarding Body.
